Our ‘Welcome, Neighbours’ Project aims to provide guidance to new migrants from Myanmar on the available government support and services of living in Australia. It also aims to provide practical guides of living in Australia, specifically in New South Wales (NSW) and provide some guidance of the Australian culture.
As Myanmar is 10* hour flight from Australia, you can expect to experience a difference in climate, lifestyle and culture. We hope this website encapsulates everything you need.
This website is funded by Multicultural NSW, and developed in partnership with Good Neighbours Australia and Australia-Burma Community Development Network. Together, we aim to create a more inclusive Australia and offer new migrants from Myanmar the opportunity to gain access to appropriate support available in their local area.
