Australia Post ,also known as AusPost, is a government-owned corporation that provides postal services such as letters, parcels and logistics, and international services. Aside from courier services, Australia Post also offers financial services (such as transfer money, paying bills, get insurance, etc) and Document/ID services (such as passport photo/ passport application,license renewals, police checks, etc) through a network of 4,000 post offices nationwide.
Stamps: You are able to purchase packs of stamps for letters and parcels. You may be eligible for Australia Post Concession account if you have a Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card, or Commonwealth Seniors Card. The current base rate for domestic letters is $1.20 (as at 3 January 2023).
For international delivery services, an online tool is available where you are able to calculate postage and delivery charges, review custom forms and regulations, then track the package.
There are three ways you can send parcels overseas: :
• Economy: For normal delivery services, you can use International Economy service. This is suitable for items up to $100 and optional signature on delivery.
• Standard: For tracked delivery and plenty of optional extras, you can use the International Standard service.
• Express: For a speedy delivery, choose Express option. Tracking and signature is required on delivery, For sending packages to Myanmar, you can send up to 20KG in parcels there is an international extras cover in the event the parcel is damaged or lost in transit.
